Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA)
The Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA) funds programs that support low鈥慽ncome and at鈥憆isk youth in gaining employment, education, training, and supportive services. Through this funding, CCCOE Youth Services operates two programs in 大象传媒 Costa County—Supporting Student Success (SSS) and Reconnecting Youth to their Future (RYTF). These programs help young people build the skills needed for work and post鈥憇econdary education by offering work experience, mentoring, academic assistance, and career development.
- In鈥慡chool Youth Program: Supports high school students with academic monitoring, college and career preparation, and financial aid guidance.
- Out鈥憃f鈥慡chool Youth Program: Helps youth ages 18–24 reconnect with education, earn a diploma or GED, and access advanced training opportunities.
